Tuesday’s Daily Bread - Lock In

In the time of Nehemiah, Jerusalem's walls lay in ruins, leaving its people vulnerable and disgraced. Nehemiah, moved by their plight, rallied the community with these words:

Scripture

"Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." — Nehemiah 2:17

The Word

Nehemiah's leadership reminds us of the power of unity and collective effort. When we come together, even the most daunting tasks become achievable. Each person's contribution, no matter how small, plays a vital role in the restoration and strengthening of our communities.

Today’s Prayer

Father, we thank You for the example of Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem, who demonstrated the strength found in unity and faith. Grant us the courage to step forward and contribute our gifts to the rebuilding of our communities. Help us to work together harmoniously, knowing that with You, all things are possible.
