Thursday’s Devotional - Answering the Call to Lead

Like Moses, we often doubt our ability to lead. But God doesn’t call the equipped—He equips the called. What is one area in your life where God might be calling you to step up? Take a moment to reflect, pray, and trust that He will provide everything you need.

Scripture

“So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” - Exodus 3:10

The Word

God’s call might feel overwhelming, but remember that He doesn’t ask us to do it alone. Just as He empowered Moses to lead, He equips us with the tools, wisdom, and strength to fulfill His purpose. Your doubts don’t disqualify you; they’re an opportunity to trust in God’s power. If He’s calling you, He’s already prepared the way.

Today’s Prayer

Father, thank You for calling us to be a part of Your plan, even when we feel unworthy or unprepared. Like Moses, we often doubt our abilities, but we know that You equip those You call. Strengthen us to trust in Your power and provision.

When we face fear or uncertainty, remind us that You are always with us. Help us to surrender our doubts and step forward in faith, knowing that You have already prepared the way. Open our eyes to the opportunities You’ve placed before us, and give us the courage to say yes to Your call.

Lord, use our lives for Your glory. May our actions inspire others to follow You and trust in Your purpose.
